I Paid For This is operated by Vierto s.r.o. This Privacy Policy explains how the app collects, uses, stores, and protects data when you use the app on iOS or Android.

This Privacy Policy applies to the paid mobile application I Paid For This, including account features, profile features, the digital card, achievements, the minigame, Wall of Legends, and optional in-app purchases.

Depending on how you use the app, we may process the following data:

  • email address for account creation and sign-in,
  • password authentication through Firebase Authentication; Vierto does not directly store a readable password,
  • nickname,
  • optional country,
  • language,
  • membership number,
  • profile data,
  • minigame score,
  • score history,
  • achievements and badges,
  • your Wall of Legends message,
  • reports of messages,
  • technical data needed to operate, secure, and synchronize the app.

You create an account using an email address and password. Sign-in and authentication are handled by Firebase Authentication. Vierto does not store payment information or full payment card details.

5. Profile and app data

Profile and game data are used to display your profile, membership card, score, game history, achievements, badges, and to synchronize this information between devices where supported.

6. Wall of Legends public content

You may publish one message on the Wall of Legends. Wall of Legends messages are public within the app. Do not post personal, contact, sensitive, or private information in Wall of Legends messages. Messages may be reported by users and may be hidden or removed if they are reported or inappropriate.

7. Purchases and payment information

The app is a paid mobile app and may include optional non-consumable in-app purchases. Payment information is handled by Apple or Google; we do not receive full payment card details. Apple App Store or Google Play handle payments, prices, taxes, purchase records, and refunds according to their own terms. In-app purchases unlock cosmetic badges or achievements only.

8. Local storage and secure storage

The app stores local settings and may store a profile cache or other local app data on your device. If you choose "Stay signed in" / "Zůstat přihlášený", the app may use secure device storage such as iOS Keychain or Android Keystore to restore your sign-in securely.

We use data for the following purposes:

  • creating and managing your account,
  • displaying your profile and membership card,
  • synchronizing data between devices,
  • displaying the Wall of Legends,
  • storing scores, score history, achievements, and badges,
  • handling support requests,
  • security, abuse prevention, and moderation,
  • meeting Apple App Store and Google Play requirements.

10. Data sharing and processors

We do not sell personal data. We do not use third-party advertising in the app. We use Firebase and Google Cloud services as processors to operate authentication, storage, and synchronization features. Apple and Google process store purchases and payments under their own policies and terms.

11. Firebase and Google services

The app uses Firebase Authentication for sign-in and Cloud Firestore for profile data, Wall of Legends content, and other synchronized app data. Data may be processed through Google and Firebase infrastructure, including infrastructure outside your country.

12. Data retention

We keep account and app data for as long as your account exists or for as long as needed to operate the app. Public Wall of Legends messages remain until they are deleted, hidden, or removed. Some records may be retained where required by law, security needs, or Apple and Google store rules.

13. Account deletion

Users can delete their account from the app settings. Account deletion removes your profile, local app data, saved sign-in where technically possible, and user messages where technically possible. Apple or Google may retain store transaction history according to their own rules.

We use reasonable technical measures to protect data, including Firebase security rules and secure device storage for sign-in restoration where applicable. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

15. Children's privacy

The app is not intended for children and is not directed at children. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the app, please contact us.

16. International processing

Your data may be processed outside your country through Firebase and Google infrastructure. Where required, such processing is handled under the safeguards and terms provided by those services.

17. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be published on this page with an updated effective date where appropriate.
